Deadline is Monday, February 26th at 11:59pm GMT. Please establish contact with your opponent within 48 and schedule within 72 hours to avoid activity issues. Managers, please communicate with one another to work to resolve any activity concerns. For anyone who wants to watch NPA matches, we have a new feature on the Trainer Tower Discord server. Simply ask staff for the matches tag, and every time a game starts, when it is linked in the discord with the @matches tag, you will be notified. Simple rules for everyone's convenience: 1) only link games once, and only game 1 of a set. 2) uses of @matches must be at least 30 minutes apart; stay on showdown if games are going on one after another 3) only one person links each set, preferably a player, but anyone is allowed to This week there's a new standard for ghosting and communicating advice during matches that must be followed for the rest of the year. It was presumed before but now that it's made clear, anyone caught will both have their game result overturned and be suspended indefinitely from NPA for this and following seasons. A player may NOT communicate with anyone except the opponent about pertinent game information as soon as the first battle is opened and the opponent's team is revealed until the entire set result is official. This includes but is not limited to: asking for help with the matchup, asking for damage calculations, asking for advice during any turn of the game, asking for advice between games in a set, or asking for insight as to what the opponent may do. If you can't do it at a live Pokemon event, assume that you can't do it here. Things that are allowed that do differ from a live Pokemon event: -Damage calculating during matches. This isn't something that can be limited online and is fine if done by the player. -A player may talk with teammates or friends during and between games, but not about anything that may directly affect the outcome of the game. If it's listed or insinuated in the paragraph above, don't do it. Things like pep talks, encouragement, mentality advice (take a quick breath; keep your focus on the game, etc.) are perfectly fine, just nothing that contains strategy (example of a pep talk containing strategy: "next game you're going to OHKO that Charizard with your Tapu Lele!") -Asking teammates about the timer. I'm generally okay with this one as it's pretty much a team decision, asking for team advice on whether or not you should turn the timer on / off or request it is fair game as long as it is specifically about the timer and nothing more. Ask questions in the NPA discussion thread if you have any on the ghosting issue. Please play your own games of Pokemon as you usually would and talk about the games after they're over. If you're not comfortable using a team or not comfortable with how you're playing, change your team or tell your manager to play someone else rather than risking your own status and your team's by cheating.
